My name is Mike, and I am the owner of Organic Costaflores S.A. I developed the open-source blockchain service OpenVino®—the world’s first wine-backed cryptoasset and self-certification platform.
When Intel claimed ownership of the OpenVino® trademark, Neil used my blockchain data to prove that we had used the trademark in commerce before Intel applied. Intel offered to share the international trademark instead of fighting us. We believe this was the first time anyone had used blockchain data to defend a trademark. Neil’s team later helped establish and defend the “Mike Tango Bravo” trademark in the United States.
